Calm The Loop:

A 4-Week Class on Using Hypnosis & Somatic Tools for Anxiety Relief

A 4-week live online workshop | Thursday Evenings 6:00 - 7:30pm PT | Starting May 7, 2026

You already know what anxiety feels like.

The loop of thoughts that won’t quiet, a body that won’t settle, or the sense that calm is only something other people can achieve.

What if it wasn’t?

Calm the Loop is a 4-week live online workshop that uses the combined strengths of hypnotherapy and somatic (body-aware) practices to help you regulate your nervous system from the inside out. We do this by working directly with the part of you where anxiety lives ~ your body and your unconscious mind.

Many participants in the past have described Somatic Hypnotherapy as the most relaxed they’ve been able to feel in years, simply because their nervous system finally got the signal it had been waiting for: that it was safe to let go.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You experience anxiety, chronic stress, or a nervous system that feels stuck in overdrive.

  • You’re curious about hypnosis but have never tried it; or have tried it and want to go deeper.

  • You’re already in therapy and want complementary, body-based tools to support your work.

  • You’ve tried meditation apps or breathing exercises and want something that goes further.
You want a small, supported group experience rather than doing it alone.

No prior experience with hypnosis needed. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to show up.

What’s Included?

  • 4 live 90-minute sessions via Zoom ~ Thursdays in May 6:00 - 7:30pm PT

  • One guided audio recording per week, yours to keep and return to

  • A simple weekly integration worksheet

  • A small, intentional group

  • Direct access to Maya for consultation throughout the workshop

  • Discounted 1-on-1 session

What We’ll Cover

Week 1 - Recognizing the Loop

We start with awareness. Before anything can shift, we need to understand what’s actually happening as a pattern your nervous system learned. This week introduces the mind-body connection as the root of anxiety and guides you into your first somatic hypnosis experience: a deeply relaxed state that helps you begin to feel what it’s like when your nervous system settles.

Week 2 - Understanding Anxiety in the Body

Anxiety doesn’t just live in your thoughts. It lives in your body, and your body has been trying to protect you. This week, we go deeper into what that protection feels like somatically and begin working with it directly rather than against it. Through another somatic hypnotherapy session, you’ll start to build a felt sense of safety that your nervous system can recognize and return to.

Week 3 - The Moment of Choice

Once your body feels safe enough, something can begin to shift ~ the loop that felt automatic starts to have a pause in it. This week, we work with that pause, using a technique called anchoring and other somatic tools to create real-time pathways out of anxious activation. Practical, accessible techniques you can use in the middle of an anxious moment, outside of a dedicated practice.

Week 4 - Coming Home to Yourself

As many of my clients have heard me say throughout our work together, integration in the most important part of our healing journey. We close the container this week with a forward-looking session that consolidates what your nervous system has learned the past few weeks. How can you carry with you the lessons and tools you’ve gathered throughout this course? You’ll leave with a sustainable home practice and a clearer sense of who you are when anxiety isn’t running the show.

Your Facilitator

I’m Maya Fern, a clinical hypnotherapist with a trauma-informed, somatic approach to healing.

I’ve been providing hypnotherapy services since 2015, and the thing that still moves me most in watching someone’s body finally exhale. That moment when a person who has been living in their head, bracing against their own nervous system, realizes that deep calm was available to them all along.

Calm the Loop was build from what I see most consistently in my practice: that anxiety isn’t a thinking problem. It’s a body problem. And the body responds to approaches that meet it where it actually lives.

I work with a small number of clients at a time, by design. This workshop will be no different ~ Intimate, personal, and genuinely help.

FAQ

“I’ve never tried hypnosis. Is this for me?”

Yes! In fact, most participants come in with little or no prior experience. The first session is designed specifically for beginners, and there’s no wrong way to experience somatic hypnosis. If you can daydream, you’ll be a good fit.

“I’m already in therapy. Will this conflict with my work there?”

Not at all. Calm the Loop is designed to complement therapeutic work, not replace it. Many participants find that the somatic hypnotherapy tools from this workshop deepen what they’re already doing in therapy. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to talk with you and answer any questions at info@aumaya.com

“What if I can’t make a session?”

Each session will be recorded. If you miss a live session, you’ll receive the recording when it’s ready. That said, the live group experience is where much of the magic happens! I encourage you to prioritize attendance when you can.

“What is the format doesn’t work for me?”

That’s a valid concern! Before you register, reach out at info@aumaya.com and let’s talk. I’m always happy to chat about accessibility options and help you find out if this is the right fit before any comittment.

“Is there financial assistance available”

Yes! A small number of community access spots are available at $150. Email info@aumaya.com with the subject line “Community Spot” to inquire.

“What’s the refund policy?

Full refunds are available up to 7 days before our first session. After that, I’m happy to apply your payment as a credit toward a future cohort or 1:1 sessions.

Ready to find your way back to calm?
